Poodle  Information

Poodles come in many sizes and colors.   Only 3 sizes  are recogonized by the AKC.

          1.   Toy Poodle:   This is the smallest according to AKC.  This dog must stand no taller than 10" at the shoulder when grown.

           2.    Miniature:    This is the mid-size Poodle and stands 10"-15"  at the shoulder.

           3.    Standard:   This being the largest of the Poodles and standing over 15"  tall at the shoulder when grown.

        The terms teacup and TinyToy are not actual sizes; but terms that we as breeders use to indicate a very small puppy that will usually weigh under 4 pounds and is not over 8" tall when grown.    PLEASE remember that no one can guarantee size on puppies, if they do - you need to get it in writing.   After all at one time  "they were all Standard Size".


          Our babies come in a varity of colors:  white, cream, cream with silver tips, silver, black, chocolates, apricots and red.   We also have the very beautiful PARTI-COLORS:
black  &  white,  silver  &  white,  and  chocolate  &  white.
